Find Your Path

I know counselling can be a bewildering process, I hope these pages help you decide whether I can offer the kind of counselling that will be beneficial to you. It's my goal to create a comfortable, safe environment, where we'll work to achieve the goal together.

What to expect

An initial assessment meeting allows you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you have and if my approach to counselling can benefit you. I can be reached by telephone or email to have a brief conversation before you decide to come into a counselling session. It also allows me to you offer you any information you may need, so you can make the decision if my services may benefit you.

What Is Counselling?

Your time, your space, no interruptions, no distractions and no pressures.

Providing you with a safe environment and opportunity to share your situation or problems.

Counselling can help by providing you with an opportunity to share your situation with someone who is supportive understanding and who will not judge you.

It is also helpful in discovering more about yourself and the actions of those around you, it helps you to identify your needs and priorities and to set new goals to work towards.

I understand that accessing counselling may feel like a daunting prospect and that you might feel anxious about sharing your personal thoughts and feelings. However I would like to reassure you that I have a friendly warm and approachable personality and that I am skilled in promoting a relaxed and empathetic environment. There are times when we feel overwhelmed. While our minds are preoccupied, dealing with stress, we are unable to think clearly or make good decisions.

Having counselling is your time, your space, no interruptions, no distractions and no pressures. How we live our lives and build relationships is hugely dependent on our past experiences, the difficulties and challenges we have faced.
